Homeless Crisis in Prince George

Vancouver's downtown eastside is commonly viewed as the 'hub' of the province's homeless. In recent years however, communities such as Prince George are experiencing a rise in demand for drop-in centres, emergency shelters, and food banks.  In response, Prince George poverty advocates are demanding the provinical government to provide funding for low income housing throughout the entire province, not simply in one central area.
