Ontario Highway vs. Growth Plan

The Save Money and Reduce Traffic (SMART) Coalition has filed a lawsuit against the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, alleging that plans to build a highway between Cambridge and Brantford contradicts the province's Growth Plan. The Growth Plan was designed to enhance connections between priority communities and prevent urban sprawl from affecting green spaces and prime agricultural land.
