Funding cut for B.C. arts, culture, environmental and sports groups for adults

The BC government announced it will again decide to cut the amount of gambling revenue money it plans to give community and non-profit groups. Affected groups range from wildlife refuges to theatres to adult sports teams. The BC Association for Charitable Gaming has threatened legal action against the province, saying it broke at 1991 deal that promised them one-third of provincial gambling revenues.
